When I was a child my grandparents had an outhouse. Whenever you had to go to the bathroom in the nighttime you had to go out there, and it was really spooky. I used a photo I took of a scene that had an outhouse in it and created a dark spooky atmosphere.

I live in Central Illinois in the very small town. I take pictures and create art. Art has always been my passion, but it was only in 2010 that I've decided to pursue it. I decided to name my art business in honor of my father, D'August Art. He always encouraged and supported me in my art.
